LSGP, ACC, WHF and NCS Partnership
The Lebanese Society of General Practice (LSGP) in collaboration with Viatris (Mylan + Upjohn, a legacy company of Pfizer), is pleased to partner with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) along with the World Heart Federation and the NCD Alliance to be part of launching a strategic educational program in Lebanon, the NCD Academy.
NCD Academy is a first-of-its kind collaboration between major actors in global health to equip frontline health workers with comprehensive education on non-communicable disease (NCD) care as they take on a more prominent role in prevention utilizing digital platforms.
The NCD Academy offers free interactive courses on several topics (The currently available courses are Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer Care, Covid-19 and A Call to Action). After completion of each course, the healthcare professional will get a downloadable certificate from the ACC and a digital badge that can be shared on his/her CV and social media.
